Early configuration ROCK-OLA M1 Carbine
April 1943 barrel with Throat Erosion of 2+ & Muzzle Erosion of 1. Bore is bright & shiny with strong visible rifling. High wood oval-cut stock is dinged & scratched from handling & has “IO” mark in sling well as well as a faint Ordnance crossed canons. Two-rivet upper handguard with shallow groove.
The carbine has a Type A barrel band, flat bolt, push button safety & a flip rear sight marked “RR” on one side & “S” on the other. Most metal finish worn off on the barrel, receiver & trigger housing. Comes with one NOS USGI magazine.
